We’re Open -In More Ways Than One
Do you have reservations about not being able to get into a local drinking spot on the weekend? We’ve got you covered - literally! Our open air, open seating allows guests to enjoy flexible seating options under large tents, keeping you safe from the elements while appreciating the outdoors. While we do offer exclusive festivals throughout the year at the farm that require tickets, your visit to the barrel room during public hours is always reservation-free.
unWINEd at the Farm - Without the Kids
As a family owned and operated small business serving Kansas City, we treasure each and every opportunity we have to spend time with our amazing children. As busy parents, we also appreciate the time we get to reconnect with ourselves - and other adults - kid free. It’s true what they say, you can’t fill from an empty cup, and our team at KC Wine Co provides you with an experience that helps you to relax and unWINEd. A little “self care”, if you will. For that reason, we remain committed to keeping the vineyard open to guests 21+ only. We know how much you love your children, and we love them too, so we invite you to plan your visit to our family fun farm in the fall. Work hard, play hard. That’s how we do business here at the winery. Our Revelry Experts here at KC Wine Co want you to have fun while you’re here with us. Throughout the month, we offer fun and exciting themed bingo and trivia events at the farm. You can sing along during Boy Band Bingo, test your knowledge during Movie Trivia, and take home all the bragging rights when you compete - and win - against your friends at any one of our fun themed events. The best part about all of it?! Game play is always FREE!
A Lot to Talk About - Not Just WINEing
There’s a preconceived notion a lot of people seem to have when it comes to life in the heartland - that we’re nothing more than flyover country - and we’d like to challenge that. From our Midwestern crafted wines to our collection of delicious Hard Ciders, our flavored frozen wine slushes and our exclusive adult wine popsicles (Vine Coolers), our drinks showcase the flavors that this region of the world has to offer…and it’s nothing to whine about.

With each passing season of our lives, we’re left with the memories we’ve created along the way. One of the best ways to capture those memories is through photographs. Here at KC Wine Co, we understand the importance of documenting the happy times in our lives and so we’ve created opportunities throughout the farm for you to take those great photos to look back on when you’re old and grey, as a way of remembering the most valuable moments in life - the times spent with friends.
Don’t Be Singing the Blues - Leave the Music to Us
Featuring local artists spanning a variety of genres, our summer concert series is one of our favorite ways to celebrate the season. Each weekend, we bring in different solo artists from around town to play music in the vines. Our line up is always available on the website so you can plan ahead.

Located just a few miles from the downtown area (on S Gardner Road), our farm has all the wonderful things you love about life in the country right by the big city. As a business devoted to agri-tourism, we’re proud to offer our guests an accessible experience that will help them appreciate breathtaking Kansas views. Our sprawling acreage and amazing sunsets are the ideal way to enjoy some much needed time away.
Dog Friendly Winery Weekends - You Can Drink With Your Best Friend
Simply put, we love dogs. One of the most commonly asked questions we get is whether or not KC Wine Co is a pet friendly winery. Short answer? Yes, we are, on select weekends. Our themed Mutts & Merlot weekends offer you the perfect opportunity to drink with your four legged friends. We do have some requirements for guests who choose to bring their pets on those weekends (they must be leashed, friendly/well behaved, and you must clean up after them) so be sure to check out our Facebook events for the next dog friendly weekend at the winery.
